K-Sool Award

Korean Sool Award This is a national award competition hosted by the Ministry of Agriculture, Food and Rural Affairs and the Korea Agro-Fisheries & Food Trade Corporation to select and award excellent products every year.
Its intention is to improve the quality of Korean traditional liquor and strengthen its competitiveness.
The Korean Sool Award started in 2010, and selects three products--Gold, Sliver and Bronze.-- in a total of five sectors (Takju, Yakju/Cheongju, Fruit Wine, Distilled Spirits, Other Liquors).
From among the grand prize winners in all sectors, one is selected for the presidential award.
The prizewinners are provided support through various promotional activities such as sales promotion, tasting events for buyers, etc.
