Mead is an alcoholic beverage made by fermenting honey. Just like a winery is a place where wine is made, a meadery is a place where mead is made. Mead is often associated with eternal love.

In medieval Europe, there was a cultural practice of giving newlyweds mead to drink for one month after marriage. This practice is believed to have created the term "honeymoon."

In Korea today, mead meets K-sool brewers to find new forms. Here are the mead varieties we have handpicked for you.

Sour Bochet

Sour Bochet caramelizes honey at a high temperature and ferments lactobacillus and then alcohol before undergoing an aging process to finally create the mead. It offers distinctive sweet honey and Shine Muscat flavors.

Blueberry Mead

Blueberry Mead is a blend of acacia honey and blueberries. Contrary to the sweet-sounding name, this mead offers a surprisingly dry finish with a balanced mix of juicy blueberries and a subtle hint of acidity.

Royal Grey

Royal Grey uses multiflora honey gathered from summer blooms. But what makes this mead truly unique is another ingredient: Earl grey tea. The tea leaves are used in the brewing, delivering the tea’s deep notes that beautifully complement the sweet honey flavor.

Sijak

Sijak is a mead made exclusively from wildflower honey and yeast. It boasts of a hint of acidity, a delicate and sweet note of honey, and refreshing carbonation. There is also a touch of crisp champagne, making it the ideal companion for any party.

Bee Waltz Original

Bee Waltz Original is a mead uses honey gathered from wildflowers in the Chuncheon area. The meadery harvests 35 percent of the honey used. This mead offers a delightful harmony of strong honey and subtle tropical fruit flavors. With elegant packaging, it makes a perfect gift for any occasion.
