Attention, please! We have new bottles for July. It’s a perfect month to relax and appreciate the green summer.
Yangjo Hakdang Tteul (ABV 12%)
Relax and think in this peaceful garden of refreshing makgeolli
Yangjo Hakdang Tteul is sweet and clean makgeolli made with mugwort and pine needles. It works well as an aperitif with light snacks. It is a versatile drink to go with Korean cuisine. For quality control, the brewery sells only 500 bottles a month. It can also be a good collector’s item with the label carrying a handwritten serial number.
Seonbi Gin (ABV 48%)
This gin exudes Korean charms
Seonbi means ‘virtuous scholar’ literally, a word used for a man of learning and characters in the past. The name Seonbi Gin implies the spirit of integrity in which the liquor is brewed. The refreshing quality of gin, the intense flavor, and the distinct Korean charms coming from pine needles, omija berries, Cheonhyehyang citrus, chrysanthemum, and licorice—everything comes together to make an impressive taste. Add tonic water, ice, and a piece of lemon to Seonbi Gin, and you will have a lovely light gin and tonic.
Yeonhui Jangmi (ABV 10%)
It’s a sweet and sour makgeolli you might want to drink in a garden of roses
The fragrance of roses, the sweet and sour taste in the beginning, and the distinct makgeolli flavor at the end, and the effervescent, balanced acidity—Yeonhui Jangmi (Rose) is outstanding when paired with Chinese cuisine. Float a petal of rose on top of the light pink takju, and the scent of roses will grow even stronger.
Dalholjinju (ABV 25%)
Refreshing and tasty, this soju resembles cool sea breeze
Dalholjinju reminds you of the cool sea breeze. It is a distilled soju brewed with rice from a Korean region called Goseong, whose ancient name is Dalhol. There are two types, ABV 25% and 40%, and you can pick the one to your taste. If you mature the bottle, you can add depth to the flavor. It goes well with fatty meat or light fish.
Please sit back and enjoy a fragrant, refreshing summer with all the new sool releases in July.
