전통주갤러리 3월 시음주는 '다양한 재료로 빚어낸, 봄길맞이 우리술'이라는 주제로 밀 막걸리, 향수(탁주 9%), 토란으로 만든 막걸리, 시향가(탁주 8%), 송순으로 만든 살균약주, 솔송주(약주 13%), 밤으로 만든 증류주, 왕율주25(일반증류주 25%), 매실로 만든, 에델매실와인(기타주류 13%) 등 총 5종을 선정하였습니다.

The theme for the tasting drinks available in March at The Sool Gallery is "Korean traditional alcohol made with various ingredients to welcome spring." You can try five types of alcohol, including Hyangsu (9% Takju), Sihyangga (8% Takju), Solsongju (13% Yakju), Wangyulju 25 (25% General Distilled Spirit), and Edelmaeshil Wine (13% Other Liquor). 충북 옥천에 위치한 이원양조장에서 만든 우리밀 100% 밀막걸리 향수는 정지용 시인의 시 제목에서 따온 알코올도수 9% 탁주로, 탄산감이 거의 없고 묵직하고 걸죽한 바디감을 갖고 있습니다.
일반적인 쌀 막걸리보다 색도 진하고 단맛이 덜하며, 밀의 맛과 향을 고스란히 느껴볼 수 있습니다.

This is wheat Makgeolli made with 100% Korean wheat from Iwon Brewery (Okcheon, Chungbuk). Named after the poem "Hyangsu" by poet Jeong Ji-yong, it is a Takju with an alcohol content of 9%, with little carbonation and a solid, chewy body. It has a darker color and less sweetness than ordinary rice Makgeolli, allowing you to fully enjoy the taste and aroma of wheat.

최초의 토란막걸리를 생산한 전남 곡성의 시향가에서 리뉴얼하여 출시한 시향가는, 무취·무미의 토란을 건조하여 친환경 신동진쌀과 함께 고두밥으로 쪄서 만든 탁주로, 은은한 과실의 향과 단맛이 먼저 나면서 뒤에 오는 씁쓸한 맛이 돋보입니다. 산미가 적고, 담백하고 소박한 향이 매력적입니다.

Sihyangga is a Takju released after renovation by Sihyangga which was the first brewery to produce Toran Makgeolli in Gokseong, Jeollanam-do. It is made by drying colorless and odorless Toran, grinding it with environmentally friendly Sindongjin rice to make Godubap. It has a subtle fruity aroma and sweet taste, followed by a distinct bitter taste. It has low sourness, and an attractive plain and clean aroma.

도 무형문화재 박흥선 식품명인이 지리산 자락 청정지역 햅쌀과 솔잎 새순(송순)으로 빚은 500년 비법의 약주입니다. 차갑게 드시면 은은하고 향긋한 솔향이 더욱 매력적으로 다가오고, 많이 달지는 않지만 첫 모금에 곡물의 가벼운 단맛이, 그리고 뒤에 오는 시원한 솔의 풍미가 조화를 줍니다.

Solsongju is a Yakju made from the 500-year-old secret recipe of Park Heung-seon, a Korean intangible cultural asset and food master, using pure rice from the clean area near Jirisan and fresh pine needles and buds. If you drink it cold, you can feel a subtle and fragrant pine scent, and although not very sweet, you can taste a light sweetness of grains with the first sip.
